Alfredo A Garza Sr. 72 was called by our Lord on Jan. 23, 2024, in Memphis, TN. He was born in Bryan, Ohio and raised in Laredo, Texas. He moved to Memphis in 2005 with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife Elsa L. H. Garza, his son Abel A. Garza, his mother Guadalupe S. Tapat, his stepfather Pantaleón V. Tapat.

He is survived by his wife Maria R. H. Garza, daughters Karla (David) Valdes, Noemi Espinoza, sons Alfredo A. (Tavia) Garza, Alfredo Peña III, Abel A "Pato" Espinoza, brothers Francisco Mares, Valentine (Lily) Tapat, sister Maria Mora, 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Dad's favorite hobbies will be continued to be enjoyed by his immediate family members which include watching WWE on Monday's and Friday's. Watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys games. Grilling, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family. He will always be remembered for his joyful and funny nature.

His ashes will remain in Memphis, TN with his wife.
