February 22, 1951 – April 16, 2022
Barbara was born to the parents of Robert L. Uebele and Anne P. Uebele in Minneapolis, MN. One of five children, she grew up in West Bend, WI and graduated from West Bend High School. She went on to attend The University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI where she received her bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Business Administration. She accepted a position with Jean Nicole & Three Sisters stores doing interior and exterior window displays before accepting a position on the management training team with Marshall Field & Company in Wauwatosa, WI. She married David Sippel who now lives in Marion, AR with his current wife, Cathy. After raising her children, she returned to work at J.C. Penney for 9 1/2 years before taking a business office position with Covington Pike Honda for 12 1/2 years. She spent her remaining 18 1/2 years of her career at Acura of Memphis. She was an avid walker for various charities in Memphis. She loved swimming and was a life guard and swimming instructor. She enjoyed bicycle rides, jigsaw puzzles, baking, working in the garden, and later in life discovered her passion for skydiving. She also played the piano, organ, and clarinet from fifth grade through college. Her greatest joy was taking care of her children and grandson. She later dusted off her clarinet to play with the Bartlett Community Concert Band. She is survived by her sister, Laurel Williams of Wautoma, WI, and brothers, Robert M. Uebele and wife Kathy of Austin, TX, William Uebele and wife Laurie of Carmel, IN, and Craig Uebele of Dallas, TX. She is further survived by her most amazing treasures, her son, Brian Sippel, retired MSgt, USAF, his wife, Krissi, and her most beloved grandson, Jaxson of Clinton, UT as well as her truly amazing daughter, Anne Sippel of Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
