Betty Sue Drewery passed away August 11, 2024, in her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.  She was born to Willie Sue and Murrell White on April 9, 1942, in Friendship, Tennessee.

She graduated from Southside High School in 1960.  Betty worked as an office manager for several firms in the Memphis area in addition to being a homemaker.

Betty married Robert McCaleb June 4, 1960, and had two children, Karen and Kevin. We remember her kind soul, her patience, and the selfless mother that always made us her priority regardless of the circumstances.

She was athletic and artistic. Her favorite sport was softball, and she played for many years at the local parks. She enjoyed making jewelry, painting and ceramics. Her projects typically were made for others as gifts.  We also appreciated the time spent in the kitchen as she was a wonderful cook.

Predeceased by her parents, her brother Danny, and her daughter Karen. Betty's memory will be cherished by her son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her two sisters Kathy and Diane.
