Betty Lou (Maynard) Palmer of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 9, 2022. She was 85 years old. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Eddie Lee Palmer, her two sons Bret Palmer of Millington, Tennessee and Barry Palmer of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, one grandson Shane (Melissa) Palmer and one great grandson, Jaxson Palmer.  Betty was born in Baxter, Tennessee on October 19, 1937 to Bethel and Lizzie Maynard. She graduated from Baxter Seminary High School in 1956 and married her high school sweetheart, Eddie Palmer on December 27, 1957 becoming a loving and supportive Navy wife. A private family service will be at the Palmer Family Cemetery in Silver Point, Tennessee at a later date.
