CAROL HORGROW MORANT was born July 15, 1972, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Robert and Myrtis Horgrow. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her oldest son Johnny L. Beverly III, her brother Carl, and favorite brother-in-law, Alvarez. Carol leaves in her passing, her husband of twenty-three years, John P. Morant, her son Graysen Morant, her daughter Riley Morant and her canine companion, Piper; her mother, six siblings, Michael, Deena, Wendell, Barbara, Elise, and David (Glynette), respectively; her uncle and aunt who are like a mom and dad to her, Simon and Alice Horgrow; her special niece Shannon Dixon; and her "sister cousin" Katrina (Pedro) Castelow. Also, her best friend for 47 years Alida Curry, and her mentor Ammer (Bill) Anderson; a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and special nieces and nephews that we picked up from our kids along the way. Carol was witty, smart, very resourceful and creative. She loved decorating and helping others. Carol will be missed heavily by all who loved her dearly!  Memorial Service is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Stonebridge Golf Club, 1825 Clubhouse Drive, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48108.
