In Loving Memory of Cheryl Gaye Springfield Post
Cheryl was born to Mary Aline & Clyde Leon Springfield on September 29, 1950, in Louisiana. The family moved to Memphis, TN where Cheryl attended Memphis Junior Academy finishing her high school years at Madison Academy, in Madison, TN., graduating in 1969.
Cheryl was a talented and creative lady. She sang in her church choir for many years. She was also blessed by making anything she touched beautiful; from wedding cakes, ceramics, Christmas wreathes and ornaments, to crocheting blankets and sewing/smocking beautiful dresses. Her creativity was a big part of who she was.
Cheryl was employed as director of Cottonwood Heights Baptist Church Daycare, for nearly a decade. She was then employed at the optometrist office of Dr. Janice Barr, OD in Memphis. After working for
Dr. Barr, Cheryl went to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Cheryl is survived by her daughter Michelle Crutchfield (David), 2 grandchildren Myles Crutchfield & Madyson Crutchfield, sister Terri Roche (Stephen), Two nephews Aaron Roche & Christopher Roche and former husband Keith Post.
A private family service will be held in Monroe, LA where she will rest beside her mother & father until that beautiful resurrection day when Jesus calls her name to live with Him for eternity.
