DANIEL (Dan) A. DAVIS, SR., 87 peacefully passed away June 20, 2025. He was born April 29, 1938 in Fairfax, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Clarice Davis. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Jeannette Davis and their seven children, twenty grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. He proudly served our country, dedicating his life to twenty-five years in the United States Navy. After his retirement from the Navy, he taught as a Shop Instructor at Kingsbury High School and also at State Tech, retiring from teaching after fifteen years. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed bowling. Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Dan Davis 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Harmony Church of Bartlett, 6740 St. Elmo Road, Bartlett. Following visitation at 11:00 there will be a funeral service with military honors. Come join his family and friends to celebrate a great man!
