DOUGLAS DARRELL WILSON was born September 10th, 1954.  He was called home January 7, 2022 at the age of 67.  Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Douglas Wilson, as well as his maternal and fraternal grandparents all of whom are welcoming him home.  He leaves one son, Brian Wilson, two grandchildren, Erryn and Wyatt Wilson.  He also leaves his sister, Kim Hogan; a nephew, Zach Hogan, and a niece, Kacie Hogan.  Darrell loved to play his guitars, especially with friends and family.  Another passion of his was fishing.  Even in the last few years with dementia and COPD taking their toll on him, he talked about his fishing days with his mom, aunt, and cousin.  He often expressed how he wished he could go fishing just one more time.  He also had a great love for animals.  Above all, he loved his family more than anything in the world.  As his body grew frail, he often expressed his desire to join Jesus and his loved ones in Heaven.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
