Retired SMSgt David Brant King, 83, of Cordova, TN, passed away on January 28th, 2022.
On July 20th, 1938, Dave was born to Logan Deaton and Hetty Ann in Port Huron, Michigan.
He joined the US Airforce in 1957 and retired in 1984.
Dave specialized in Air Rescue and as an inspector for the Norad Air Defense Inspector General & Space Command during his career with the Airforce. After retiring from the USAF David began his second career with Piccadilly Cafeterias professionally working as Associate Manager.
In his spare time, he loved playing golf, meeting people, spending time with his family, and volunteering at the church.
He was a kind and loving partner to his wife Linda as well as an amazing father.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents Logan Deaton & Hetty Ann, his sisters Ann, Melinda, and his wife Linda.
He is survived by his sisters Rebecca, Marsha, Lisa, his children Sharron, David, Terry, Robbie, Teresa, Michelle, his 15 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
