MERVIN DAVID YEWELL, 77, departed his earthly home to walk through heaven's gate January 3, 2022. He was born March 26, 1944 in Pumpkin Bend, Arkansas to Mervin Dwight and Lois Irene Yewell.  He was married 57 years to his lifetime sweetheart, Jane Yewell, but their friendship exceeded 70 years, having met at a very tender age.  David was a loving, caring tender-hearted, hard-working devout Christian man.  He was affectionally known as Dad and Papa to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren He was retired from St Agnes/St Dominic Catholic Schools, where he served as Director of Maintenance. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Joyce Yewell, Lois Conger and Carolyn Foshee. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Mike (Kay) Yewell; two children, Keith (Anita) and Stacy (Wayne) Williams; three grandchildren Katie Yewell, Austin (Bo) Clark, Kara Williams; and three great-grandchildren.
