DEANNA RUTH COX RHEA, 80 passed away unexpectedly September 3, 2023.  She was born February 23, 1943.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she kept an immaculate yard adorned with flowers galore, and gave great attention to detail in everything for which she was responsible.  She learned to drive at a very mature age.  She never allowed not knowing how to drive to prevent her from getting to anyone she loved who was in need of her TLC. She would ride a bus if necessary.  She was a woman of faith and attended church as long as she was able.  She was very smart, and independent.  There were always homemade biscuits on the stove every morning for her children which she left for them before she walked to work every day.   Education was of paramount importance to her.  She left a path of light that will never be forgotten by her children, Carol (Trey) Hubbard, April Rhea, Wayne Rhea Ginger Rhea and Rodney Rhea; her three granddaughters, Rachel Conerus, Candace Rhea and Alexis Antwine; her six grandsons Keith Gatlin, Josh Rhea,  Christopher Bolden, Curtis Smith, and Conner Warren, Cody Rhea and her ten great grandchildren; also her sister Glenda Undem and her brother Gary Cox. Visitation will be Saturday, September 9, 2023, 10:00 a.m at Harmony Church of Bartlett, 6740 St. Elmo Road, Bartlett. Graveside Service will be 12:30 p.m. at Memphis Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett.
