DEWEY VIRGIL "DV" HOPPER, JR. 71, passed away peacefully at his home February 8, 2022. He was born November 11, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee to Fannie and Dewey Hopper, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Vivian Burgin and Pam Dowland; and one brother, Donald Hopper. DV attended Kirby Woods Baptist Church, enjoyed reading, was a science fiction buff and followed politics. He is survived by his sister, Patti (Kerby) Ellis and brother, Kenny (Connie) Hopper, two daughters, Christy Day and Rebekah (Anthony) Mostacci; three grandchildren, Carter Day, Gaige and Arrietty Mostacci. Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery.
