Donald Saigeon, 67, passed away April 9, 2026, with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Bolton, Tennessee on May 9, 1958, to Dorothy and Walter Saigeon, Sr.

Don grew up in Bolton and graduated from Bolton High School. He dedicated his entire working life to Walgreens, starting as a stock clerk one day and being promoted to assistant manager the very next day. He spent the next forty-nine years serving as an assistant manager at several locations across Memphis and Shelby and Tipton counties. Everyone he worked with at Walgreens called him “Papa Saigeon.”

He enjoyed going to the mountains, attending car shows, and had a love for antique cars. He also liked craft fairs, antique shopping, visiting Florida, yard work, keeping up the swimming pool, and keeping cars clean. He loved spoiling his pets, both feline and canine.

Don was an amazing dad, a loving husband, a hard worker, and a good man who would do anything for anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Saigeon; his daughter, Lisa Saigeon; and his brothers and sisters, Dewey Holbrook, Dorothy Saigeon Gullett, Mary Saigeon Blevens, Thomas Saigeon, and George Saigeon.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and Eddie Holbrook, and Richard and Walter Saigeon, Jr.

A memorial gathering will be held Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Harmony Church of Bartlett, 6740 St. Elmo Road, Bartlett, TN 38135.
