Doris Marie Bruington, 81, of Cordova, TN, passed away on October 11, 2023. She was born April 6, 1942, to John Clinton and Vada A. Waugh in Springfield, MO. She excelled academically, graduating as valedictorian from both Argentine High School and later from The University of Arkansas in accounting.

Doris embarked on a fulfilling career with Imes Communications. She shared a loving life with Rex Bruington, cherishing pets, college football, and the role of a devoted mother to Stephen.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rex, and brother Art Waugh.

She is survived by her son Stephen Moritz and partner Garry Kubel, stepdaughter Kerry Bruington, stepson Brent and Peggy Bruington, grandchildren Tommy Bruington, Michelle Shinn, Christina Snow, and six great-grandchildren, along with a circle of friends. Doris will be dearly missed but always remembered in our hearts.
