DOUGLAS M. JONES, 74, a proud Vietnam veteran, devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away March 8, 2025.  Doug served two tours in Vietnam before a 36-year career with FedEx.  He was a loving husband to Nina, father to April and Eric, and cherished grandfather to Lilah, Amelia, Johanna and Kendall.  In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren he survived by his brother Bob Jones and sister Helen Jones.  An avid traveler, Doug had a deep love for the American Southwest, especially the Grand Canyon, which he hiked numerous times through his life.  He found peace and adventure in its vast beauty and never tired of exploring its trails.  He also found great joy in his faith and was a dedicated member of All Saints Episcopal Church.  A burial service with military honors will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a veterans' charity of your choice.  Bartlett-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Douglas M.
