It is with great sorrow we announce the death of our precious LaRae.
ELIZABETH LARAE PHILLIPS BLUEMEL died peacefully in her sleep July 17, 2022. LaRae was born April 14, 1971 to John Larry and Cynthia "Cindy" Outland Phillips in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Ben (Karen) Phillips and her sister, Jaynie (Dennis) Phillips; her son, Landon (Steph) Bluemel and two daughters, Reagan (Noah) Pickelsimer and Ava Bousquet; also her aunts, Sandra Phillips, Carylon Hickerson, Sylvia (C.W.) Patterson, Joni Elrod and her uncle, Dan (Carolyn) Outland. Also, she is survived by a niece, Ansley (Matt) Stout; nephews, Benjamin, Brock and Nate Phillips; Jayden (Erynn) Phillips, Jackson and Jordan Phillips; numerous cousins and a loving extended family of great-aunts and her life-long BFF, Angel Pardue.
LaRae had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, a contagious laugh and a life-long compassionate love for animals. She enjoyed cooking. All of her children looked forward to her delicious meals, as she was mindful to prepare each one's favorite dish. Cooking for them made her heart happy. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, 2022, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church, 655 W. Thompson Lane, Murfreeboro, Tennessee. Her final resting place will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Murfreeboro, Tennessee which was owned by her great uncle, Ed Phillips and managed by her grandfather Dayton Phillips for many years.
