Fred L. Rhodes Jr. (73) passed away peacefully at his home in Bartlett, TN on June 21, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Louise Rhodes, and sister Virginia Angotti. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Pamela Rhodes; his son Fred Rhodes, III (Janiece); his daughter Sheri Phillips (Corey); and grandsons Chase Phillips, Connor Phillips, and Brandon Rhodes.

Fred, known to family and friends as Freddy, played baseball for and graduated from Frayser High School. Freddy and Pam wed in 1968 and enjoyed 54 wonderful years together. Freddy loved bowling and playing golf with his family and friends. Freddy was a devout Christian, who loved his family, especially his three grandsons, who called him Pop Pop.
