On Saturday, October 30, 2021, Jonathan Hesford, at the age of 44, was riding his bike to the gym when he was involved in a hit and run accident and was taken into the sweet arms of Jesus. Jonathan, known as Jon, Jojo, Johnny, and Tut, was born in Memphis, TN on January 25, 1977. Jonathan worked for LSI Staffing and was so happy to finally get his own apartment. He was a free spirit, had a big heart, loved helping others and loved life in general. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone laugh when he was around and loved taking and sending his friends and family tons of pictures. He enjoyed riding his bike, working out, art and the simple beauty of life. Jonathan held a great passion for singing, writing songs and poetry. Oh, how he loved spending time and talking to his beautiful daughter Christian. He loved his sisters and family and was definitely a momma's boy. In fact, he was just about to get a tattoo saying so.  Jonathan experienced God's forgiveness, mercy, and unconditional love and came to love Jesus as his Savior. By God's grace, he was able to witness and lead others to Christ through his testimony. He would say, "If I can do it, anybody can do it".  Jonathan joined his paternal grandparents William Virgil Hesford and Alberta Louise Belanski Hesford; his maternal grandparents Warren Hilliard Bond and C. Muriel Bond; and his father William Herbert Hesford in Heaven.   He is survived by his loving daughter Christian Hesford and step-daughter Kelsey Mills of Reno, NV; grandson Ezra Jones of Reno, NV; mother Janice Hesford; two sisters Beth McDonald (Terry) and Marie Truitt (Scott); cousin Travis Bond; four nieces Jessica Ortiz, Amber Alexander (Stephen), Faith Truitt and Kim Garcia (Alex); one nephew Chase Truitt; and many great nieces and a great nephew.
