Joseph W. Perlsen, 71, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021.  He was born on December 27,1949 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  At a young age, his family relocated to Southern California. He graduated from Orange High School in Orange, California in 1968.  Following his graduation, he joined the Air Force and retired after 23 years of service, accomplishing the rank of Captain in 1991.  For the next 24 years he worked in  telecommunications. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Vivian Perlsen, and a brother, Harry Perlsen.

In addition to his wife of eighteen years, Della Perlsen, he is survived by his son Bruce Perlsen and granddaughters Adrianna, and Alanna, all of Cabot, AR, his son Nathan Perlsen, of Memphis, TN and his step-daughter, Andrea of Pocatello, ID.  He is also survived by a sister, Gail Schwenzfeier of Southern California.

He will receive full military honors at interment in the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR 72120
