Obituary

Joshua Brandon Hopper, 43, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, and people who will forever miss him.

Joshua was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. His family meant the world to him, and his greatest pride and joy were his two children, his son, Brandon Kale Hopper, 19, and his daughter, Lexie Anastazia Hopper, 15.

Joshua worked as an arborist, a career that fit his love of the outdoors and his appreciation for nature. He enjoyed working with his hands and being outside. When he wasn’t working, Joshua loved working on cars with his friends. Whether he was turning a wrench, solving a problem, or simply spending time with those he cared about, he found happiness in the simple things.

His sudden passing is a tremendous loss to everyone who knew and loved him. At only 43 years old, there was still so much life ahead of him and so many memories yet to be made. His family and friends will forever wish for more time, more conversations, more laughs, and more ordinary days together.

Joshua is survived by his son, Brandon Kale Hopper, 19; his daughter, Lexie Anastazia Hopper, 15; and his mother, Rebecca Penny.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clebert Allen Hopper; his grandmother, Linda Parks Penny; his grandfather, James Carlos Penny; his sister, Brandy Jean Hopper; and his brother, Timothy Allen Hopper.

He will be remembered for his love of family, his hardworking spirit, his career as an arborist, his love of the outdoors, his passion for cars, and the friendships he treasured. He leaves behind memories that will be carried forward by the people who loved him most.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain. His children, family, and friends will carry Joshua in their hearts and keep his memory alive in the stories they tell, the places they go, and the moments they wish they could share with him.

Joshua was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed.

Rest peacefully, Joshua. You were taken from us far too soon, but you will never be forgotten.
