JUDIE FITE KING, 83, died Monday, October 28, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.   She was born November 16, 1940 in Rossville, Tennessee to Annie Mattie War and Homer Cole Fite.  She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Richard King; her children, Kathryn Aldridge, Kimberly Parsley (James), Richard "Rich" King, Jr. (Cindy), and Ryan King; and her grandchildren, Shelby Riddick (Zach), Austin King (Katie), William "Will" Tolleson, Wesley Aldridge, and Justin King.  She loved family history and had an insatiable curiosity that made her an excellent researcher.  She was the Director of the Family History Center for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Memphis Stake until her death.  She loved listening to people's stories and helping them find their ancestors and was dedicated to finding her own ancestors in her spare time.  She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.  Judie's family is planning an intimate memorial service to honor her well-lived life.  Bartlett-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Judie Fite King; bartlettheritage.com; (901) 372-5555.
