Lawrence “Larry” Casinghino, a devoted father, loving grandfather, and faithful servant of God, entered into eternal rest on February 6, 2026, in Collierville, Tennessee, where he made his home in his later years. Born in Connecticut and raised in Enfield, Larry grew up with strong family values and a deep Catholic faith that guided him throughout his entire life.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy, demonstrating dedication, courage, and integrity. After his military service, he continued his life of commitment through a long and fulfilling career with Delta Airlines, where he was known for his hard work, reliability, and kindness.
A devout Catholic, Larry lived his faith not only in belief but also in service. He served for several years as a Eucharistic Minister, humbly sharing the Body of Christ with others and supporting the spiritual life of his parish community. His faith was the foundation of his character—gentle, compassionate, and steadfast.
Above all, Larry’s greatest joy was his family. He was a beloved father to his two children, Todd (Sindy) Casinghino and Lisa (Jeff) Springs, and a proud grandfather to Isabella (Bella), Cianna (CiCi), Wyatt, and Lane. His happiest moments were spent surrounded by his family, sharing laughter, and stories that will forever be cherished.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Rose, and Carlo Casinghino, and by his brother, Louis (Corky) Casinghino. He is survived by his brother Robert (Debbie) Casinghino, sister‑in‑law Karen, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will continue to honor his memory.
Larry lived a life marked by faith, love, and devotion. His family finds comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of our Lord, welcomed into eternal peace and reunited with those who went before him.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Larry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
