LUZ LEARY "MAMA LOU" DIWA, 76, peacefully passed away October 14, 2022.  She was born March 14, 1946 to Pedro Leary and Florencia Sison in the Philippines. She is preceded in death by her husband Greg Diwa.  She was affectionately known as Mama Lou and was employed at Scan Source in Southaven, MS since 2001.  She was loved and cherished by her fellow employees and also by her children, Israel (Leizel) Diwa, Christine (Edelberto) Manansala, Elizabeth (Marcelo) Fernando, and Christopher (Ma Rosario) Diwa; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was an elementary school teacher in the Philippines and had a great affection for children and regularly supported the work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  She enjoyed cooking and spared no expense when it came to preparing delicious meals for her family. She will always be missed but lovingly remembered by those who loved her so much.  Mama Lou's final resting place will be in Heavenly Home Gardens Cemetery beside her husband in Pampanga, Philippines.  Bartlett-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Luz Leary "Mama Lou" Diwa.
