Marion Lee Lewis, 78, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2025. She was born Dec 2, 1946 in Wellington, TX to Elzie and Marie Valentine. She was raised with the help of her grandmother in Shamrock, TX. Marion was preceded in death by her parents Elzie Valentine, and Marie Hillyard; Step father, Tex Hillyard; her baby sister, Ida Gill; her first husband Thomas White; and second husband Bobby J. Lewis.

Marion led a life proud of her heritage, and full of love for her four children; ensuring all knew how she felt by her countless letters, and writings. She had a love for writing, many stories, camping, traveling to visit family, being a den mother for the Cub Scouts, passing along her skill of crocheting, and being a devoted baseball mom, who never missed a game. Her love of horses gave her a gift of understanding them, and her bond with any horse was amazing  which was depicted in her many writings, some even published.

Marion is survived by her sons Brian White (Sue), Timothy White (Natalie), Chris White (Sylvia), and her daughter Melissa Condon (Daniel); as well as her 11 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later time in Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, or the American Thyroid Association.
