Ernest Marvin Massey, 71, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed away May 31, 2021 in Bartlett.Born on April 3, 1950 to the late Helen and Marvin "Buck" Massey, he was the second of six siblings.Known to all as Marvin, and you better not call him Ernest, he served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Inchon. Upon his honorable discharge he took over a small salvage business from his father and over 40 years grew it into a thriving company, finally going into retirement in 2010.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rose Rutledge Massey, his 2 sons Josh and Wesley Massey, and his siblings Linda Bass, Mark Massey, Susan McCoy, and Jim Massey. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lucky Massey.
