Mary Jo Garner, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born on June 3, 1956, in Paragould, Arkansas, to Myron and Patty Priest.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother , Myron (Junior) Priest, Jr, and her grandson, Hunter Nelson.

Mary Jo was a devoted mother to her daughters, Elizabeth Klingler (Eric) and Rebecca Sparks (Matt), and a cherished grandmother to Brenna Klingler, Ethan Klingler, Ben Sparks, Bailey Nelson, and Hannah Sparks.

She thoroughly enjoyed playing with and spending time with her great-grandson, Oliver Klingler.

She is also survived by her brother, Eddie Priest (Mary), along with many other extended family members and friends.

Mary Jo was a woman of faith and a dedicated volunteer who found great joy in serving others. Her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

A celebration of Mary Jo's life will be Thursday, January 9th at 1:00 PM at Bartlett Baptist Church, 3465 Kirby Whitten Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38235.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Diabetes Association.
