Mary Lillian Salvati Mahoney, 89 passed away peacefully September 10, 2022 after a short illness. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Thomas Mahoney, and her son, Gregory Mahoney. She was a long time member of the Saint Ann Catholic Church family. She had a life-long love for her hometown, New York City and also for the Country of Italy, she spoke Italian fluently. She attended conversational Italian classes at University of Memphis at the young age of 80.  She enjoyed traveling, and celebrating life with her family and friends.  She left a little bit of sparkle everywhere she went. She has left to cherish her memory her daughter, Deborah (Dennis) Foyle; and her grandchildren, Gavin, Slater and Lily Jewel Foyle; Christopher and Anthony Mahoney and Melissa Mahoney Wingo; and  four great grandchildren, Zoe, Dellia, Aaron and Amelia.  She requested memorials be given to Saint Ann Catholic Church, building and maintenance fund, 6529 Stage Road, Bartlett, Tennessee.
