Michael “Mike” Franks passed away October 21, 2026 at Baptist East in Memphis, TN. Mike is survived by his wife Sue of 35 years; daughters Kayla (Josh) Wynja and LeAnn Franks; granddaughter Skye Overstreet; great granddaughter Eveie Ann Jade Rea.

Mike retired from the Metro/Nashville Police Dept after 32 years of service. He loved his job and the community he served. Mike was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in McKenzie, TN.

The family will hold no formal service. If you would like to honor his memory consider making a donation to Stern Cardiovascular Foundation or St Jude.
