NANCY CAROL ALLEN, 79, entered her heavenly home peacefully on June 29.  Along with her parents, Alton and Robbie Sue Cockrill, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Lawrence Allen.  She is survived by her son Steven Jon Allen, her sister Barbara (Harold) Hannis; her grandchildren Steven Michael Allen, Jennifer Allen, Cody Allen and Cameron Allen; great-granddaughter Amekiya Allen; and other beloved family members and friends that were dear to her.   Nancy was born on November 28, 1941 in Burlison, TN.  She was a graduate of Frayser High School and Pensacola Junior College.  Although during her life she lived throughout the United States-from Florida to Hawaii, Memphis was her home because that was where her friends and family were.  She worked in the banking industry and was at Regions Bank at the time of her retirement.  Nancy was very creative and enjoyed crafting and sewing and would often bring handmade treasures to share at family gatherings.  She enjoyed reading The Bible and loved her Savior, Jesus Christ.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Burial will be in Munford Cemetery, Covington, TN following the funeral service. The family requests memorials be made to Redeemer Evangelical Church, Collierville, TN.
