PATRICIA "PAT" UNSWORTH NELSON, 81, passed away  March 24, 2024.  She was born September 27, 1942 in Memphis to Eddie and Alma Unsworth.  She devoted her life to caring for others as a surgical nurse.  Her  interests included, gardening, shopping,  baking bread,  and carrot cake.  She loved sharing her creations with her family and co-workers.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Marie Unsworth and Delores Moose.  She leaves behind to cherish fond memories, her daughter, Carrie (Tim) Harper, and her son Samuel Nelson, III; grandchildren Christina Belue, Courtney Holderfield, Samuel Nelson, IV, and Caroline Nelson; her great-grandson, Isaiah Sol Bautista; and also her canine companion, Baby.  The family and close friends will share an intimate gathering to celebrate Pat's life.
