Robert “Bob” Beveridge, 70, of Memphis, passed away on 3 September 2026.
Bob had a remarkable mind and a generous heart. He served in the U.S. Army and went on to work as an aviation electronics technician, a field that suited his gift for understanding how things worked. He was an avid reader, a writer, a guitarist, and an audiophile who loved music deeply. Later in life, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi, an achievement of which his family was proud.
Bob cared about people and the world around him. He followed politics closely, loved his country, and held his convictions with thought and feeling. Those who knew him also knew his kindness, his gentle nature, and his love for his family.
Bob was proud of his three children, Christopher, Jordan, and Nick. He cherished his family, including his daughter-in-law Courtnee and grandchildren Charli, Adonis,Thaddeus, Mytis. He loved his nieces and nephews and carried a deep love for his mother, Shirley, and his father, Clarence “Gene” Beveridge, whom he loved and admired throughout his life. He loved his brothers.
Bob’s life held both accomplishments and hardships. His family will remember all of him: his intelligence and curiosity, his music, his hopes, and the love he gave them. He will be deeply missed.
Bob is survived by his children, Christopher (Courtne), Jordan, and Nick; his grandchildren Charli, Adonis, Thaddeus, Mytis; and his brothers, Keith (Melissa), Craig, and Brent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Clarence “Gene” Beveridge.
