IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rose Marie
Tiner
September 4, 1938 – January 17, 2026
Mrs. Rose Marie Tiner, 87, of Memphis, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. She was born in Winchester, Indiana, to Dallas Jester Kidwell and Erma Larue (Kaufman) Kidwell.
Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland Tiner, and her daughter, Pamela Ann McCarty (Vernon). She is survived by her sons, G. Wayne Tiner (Lola) of Southaven, MS, and Brian Lee Tiner (Kim) of Memphis, TN; and her daughter, Lisa Gail Saigeon (the late Leon). She also leaves behind two sisters, Linda Williams of Durham, NC, and Rhonda Jolley of Stockton, TX, along with numerous grandchildren and great‑grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
A devoted member of Greenlaw Baptist Church, Rose cherished attending services and the fellowship she found there as she worshipped her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rose dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her husband and children. Family—both immediate and extended—was the center of her world. She was known for her kindness, her willingness to listen, and her instinct to help anyone in need. With a gift for storytelling and a contagious sense of humor, she brought laughter and light to every gathering.
For more than 60 years, Rose was a cherished friend and a beloved presence in her neighborhood. Her resilience and determination carried her through every challenge life placed before her, and she faced each one with grace and strength.
