Stephen Marrast, 65, was born May 16, 1958 in Trinidad Tobago to Yvonne Anastasia O'Laughlin Marrast and Stephen Alfred Marrast. He passed on February 19, 2024. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Marrast. He is survived by his daughter, Michele Marrast and his son, Gavin Marrast; his granddaughters, Kaliya, Alexandria, and Kennedy; his sisters, Juliet and Angela; his nieces and nephews, Anthony, Joel, Leah, Jason, Cameen, and Gerard. Stephen moved from Trinidad to Brixton, England, and then later moved to Los Angeles, California where he enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy, he entered the automotive mechanics industry where he
eventually retired as a diesel mechanic supervisor of Los Angeles Unified School District. He was a very handsome, hard-working man who loved to work on anything that needed repair; loved to cook, and enjoyed making everyone laugh with his infectious personality. Stephen's final resting place will be in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
