Tamara (Tammy) Ritter Baker, 68, passed away peacefully May 6, 2026, at Methodist Germantown Hospital surrounded by family. She was born September 25, 1957 in Amory, MS. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1974. She was a talented artist using a variety of mediums (paint, paper, flowers, repurposed materials). She was a devoted wife and mother spending her life committed to supporting her family whom she loved deeply. She was filled with compassion and had a strong moral compass that guided her throughout her life. Tamara is survived by her spouse of 39 years, Robert Glenn Baker, her mother, Carolyn Moss Ritter, two siblings, Carolyn Ritter and David Ritter (Trisha); three children, Christopher, Whitney (Will), Nathan; and three grandchildren, Wyatt, Winston, and Wesley.

A celebration and remembrance of Tammy's life will be held at The Church of the River, 292 W. Virginia Ave., Memphis, TN, May 23rd at 11:00 am with a reception to follow in The Mississippi River Room.
