TWILA LORRAINE (YOW) HANISCO, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27 ^th , 2021.  She was born in the Hamilton community near Ashland, MS August 30 ^th , 1933.  Twila was the original office manager for East Memphis Neonatology until her retirement in 2008 at the age of 74.  She was known to all as the "go to" person when anyone was ill or needed advice on a medical issue of any kind.  She was loved and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known her.  Twila was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian Liming; a sister, Ruby Tapp; three brothers, Gatha (Duke) Liming, Raymond Liming and Earl Liming; and a granddaughter, Candace Bradshaw Boone.  She leaves her husband of 31 years, W. David (Dave) Hanisco; two daughters, Brenda Bradshaw (David), Renee Gainey; a son, Vernon "Robbie" Yow (Trish); a sister, Annette Street of Knoxville, TN; and a brother, Hugh Liming of AL.  She also leaves three stepsons; Robert Hanisco (Ingrid), T.C. Hanisco (Mindy) and Richard Hanisco; four grandchildren, Jennifer Corder, Lindsey Signaigo, Chase Gainey, Ashley Matos; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who all loved her very much.  Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1 ^st at Harmony Church of Bartlett, 6740 St. Elmo Road, Bartlett, TN.  Due to Covid restrictions, a private family interment will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Memphis, TN.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital of the charity of your choice. Flowers may be delivered on Thursday beginning at 12:00 noon to Harmony Church.
