On Saturday, June 4, 2022, William Glenn Roman (65), loving husband and father of three children, sadly passed away after a short, but fierce battle with cancer. Glenn, as he was known to his family and friends, was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma to William and Josephine (Bates) Roman. The oldest of five children, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he trained as a flight engineer and served for over twenty years. He retired as a USMC Gunnery Sergeant.

He married Stephanie Diane Jones. They raised two sons, Jeffery and Joshua, and a daughter, Melissa. Glenn had a passion for the outdoors. Over the years he enjoyed various pursuits from duck hunting to golf. In the fall you could find him cheering on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. As the years passed by, he found joy in Sunday family lunches and cruising the Tennessee River.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, William, mother, Josephine, and brother, Blaise. He is survived by his wife Diane, his children, Jeff (Nicole) Roman, Josh (Ursula) Roman, Melissa (Stephen) Richarde, his ten grandchildren, his sisters, Theresa and Mona, and his brother, Bruce.

Glenn will receive military honors at a graveside service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21st at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
